Kaiken Wines | Argentina | Packaging Design
The design for Boulder, Kaiken Wines’ new flagship wine, was born from the unique terroir of Los Chacayes, Uco Valley—a region shaped by massive rocks and extreme conditions. This project reflects Aurelio Montes’ daring vision of letting nature take the lead and transforming adversity into excellence.
Inspired by the Japanese Gyotaku technique, we captured the essence of the local rocks by printing their textures directly onto the label, creating a design that is both authentic and visually striking. Premium finishes such as copper stamping, volumetric screen printing, and fine papers added depth and sophistication to the final piece, embodying the wine’s bold character.
The result is a label with soul, deeply connected to Boulder’s terroir and spirit—elegant, unexpected, and unforgettable.
