Clos Apalta, a globally acclaimed Chilean wine with a French soul, entrusted us with the evolution of its label. The challenge was to elevate its perceived value while preserving the identity that made it iconic.

This brand is part of the select group of Chilean wineries represented in La Place de Bordeaux, the world’s most prestigious wine marketplace.

 

Given its sophisticated and knowledgeable audience, we had the freedom to propose a bold shift without risking recognition. Our creative direction was inspired by classic château labels, yet remained grounded in what makes Clos Apalta unique: its vibrant blue and family crest.

We replaced the traditional castle illustration with a depiction of the brand’s contemporary winery in Chile’s Apalta Valley. This deliberate contrast between old-world elegance and modern architecture was reinforced through intricate print techniques, including embossing, debossing, sculptural foil stamping, and overprinting.

 

The result is a timeless, premium label that redefines tradition through a contemporary lens, a design that doesn’t just follow the rules, it elevates them.
